CLIFFORD THE BIG RED DOG opens at cinemas nationwide on Friday, 10 December 2021.
When middle-schooler Emily Elizabeth (Darby Camp) meets a magical animal rescuer (John Cleese) who gifts her a little red puppy, she never anticipates waking up to find a giant ten-foot hound in her small New York City apartment. While her single mom Maggie (Sienna Guillory) is away for business, Emily Elizabeth and her fun but impulsive uncle Casey (Jack Whitehall) set out on an adventure that will keep you on the edge-of-your-seat as our heroes take a bite out of the Big Apple. Based on the beloved Scholastic book character created by author Norman Bridwell, CLIFFORD THE BIG RED DOG will teach the world how to love big!
CLIFFORD THE BIG RED DOG features Darby Camp as Emily Elizabeth, Jack Whitehall, Academy Award®-nominee John Cleese, Sienna Guillory, Tony Hale, Izaac Wang, Horatio Sanz, Paul Rodriguez, Keith Ewell, Bear Allen Blaine, Tovah Feldshuh, Jessica Keenan Wynn, Alex Moffat and Russell Wong.
When attending the screening of Clifford I immediately knew that this movie was for me. I can’t tell you how this movie connected with me on so many levels. Especially in a society where people are always judged based on their appearances.
I really feel this movie will connect with so many families and children and make them realise it is ok being different. I would rate it a 10, and it even had me all emotional walking out the cinema, but it was a good feeling of emotions.
Leading up to Christmas I highly recommend everyone goes and see this. Get the family together and make it an outing you will never forget.
This movie will make you feel so much closer to not only your family but also your community, you might be surprised who will stand up for you in times of need.
